Blower Box Installation

1. Attach the two heater hoses (1) to the heater box (2).
Slide the hose clamp (3 or 4) over the hose and then
slide the end of the hose over the tube on the heater
box. Push the hose onto the tube far enough so that
the clamp will be positioned behind the mounting
bead on the tube.
2. Make sure that the top hose clamp (3) is placed with
the screw for tightening orientated towards (5) the
blower box and the bottom hose clamp (4) is placed
with the screw orientated away (6) from the blower
box. Tighten the clamp securely. Repeat for other
hose.

3. Push the two heater hoses and the two air
conditioning hoses through the grommet at the back
of the cab while placing heater box into the cab.
4. Line up the holes in the mounting flanges (7) with the
holes in the floor of the cab. Secure the heater
box (8) with four capscrews (9), lockwashers (10)
and SAE flat washers (11).

5. Connect the two heater hoses to the valve on the
back of the cab.

6. Assemble the two hoses (12 and 13) from the heater
unit to the connectors on the left side of the heater
valve (14). Place a hose clamp (15) onto each hose
and assemble the hoses to the valve. Assemble the
upper hose (12) from the heater unit to the top
connector on the heater valve (14). Push the hose all
the way onto the connector and tighten the clamp
securely. Assemble the lower hose (13) to the
bottom connector on the heater valve (14). Push the
hose all the way onto the connector and tighten the
hose clamp securely.
7. Connect the blower harness connector (16) to the
cab harness connector (17).
IMPORTANT: Before the heater box installation can be
completed, the air conditioning hoses (18) need to be
connected to the heater/air conditioning hoses from the
rest of the air conditioning system. This procedure must
be completed by an authorized air conditioning service
technician.
8. Place the seat support base (19) inside the cab and
insert the carriage bolt heads (20) into the key hole
slots (21) in the floor of the cab. Be sure the carriage
bolts are in the slots and push the seat support
against the rear of the cab. Line up the two holes in
the rear mounting lip with the holes in the cab and
secure in place with two bolts (22) and flat
washers (23) inserted from the inside. Secure in
place on the outside with two lockwashers (24) and
nuts (25). Tighten the two back nuts (25) first and
then tighten the two front nuts (26) securely.
