Cab, Covers and Mirrors
37. Remove the three capscrews (1), lockwashers (2)
and flat washers (3) holding the throttle pedal (4) to
the floor of the cab. Save all the hardware for
reassembly.
38. Remove elastic locknut (5). Disconnect the throttle
cable rod end (6) at the throttle lever extension
bracket (7). DO NOT remove the throttle cable rod
end (6) from the throttle cable. Save all the hardware
for reassembly.
39. Remove the two slotted pan-head screws (8),
lockwashers (9), nuts (10) and clamp (11) from the
throttle cable bracket (12). Route the throttle cable
(13) out of the engine compartment.

40. Pull the throttle pedal up and out of the hole in the
cab floor. It may be necessary to remove some of
the tie wraps that hold the throttle cable in place
under the frame to get enough slack in the cable.
Lay the throttle pedal on the cab floor to the left of
the throttle pedal hole.
41. Remove the two capscrews (14), lockwashers (15)
and rebound washers (16) securing the console
support to the rear of the cab. Access the lower right
capscrew through the right tube on the heater
plenum.
42. Remove elastic locknut (17), lockwasher (18), and
rebound washer (19) from the weld stud at the top
front corner of the console support.
43. Remove elastic locknut (20), lockwasher (21), and flat
washer (22) from the weld stud at the bottom front
corner of the console support.
44. Remove the console support (23).
