Cab, Covers and Mirrors
49. From behind the cab, loosen the lower clamp (1)
securing the fuel hose (2) to the fuel tank (3).
Remove the lower end of the fuel hose from the fuel
tank. Cap or safely cover the fuel tank opening.
50. Loosen the clamp (4) securing the fuel breather
hose (5) to the top of the beaded hose tee (6).
Remove the lower end of the fuel breather hose from
the hose tee. Cap or safely cover the hose tee
opening.
51. Loosen the clamp (7) securing the lower fuel
breather hose (8) to the beaded hose tee (6).
Remove the lower end of the fuel breather hose from
the hose tee. Cap or safely cover the hose tee
opening.
52. Disconnect the fuel sender wire (9).
53. Route the lower fuel breather hose (8) and fuel
sender wire out and away from the cab.

54. Remove the front cab to cab mount attaching hardware.
Remove two capscrews (10), and rebound washers
(11) from the cab isolators (12).
55. Remove the rear cab to cab mount attaching hardware.
Remove two elastic locknuts (13), capscrews (14) and
rebound washers (15). Tap the capscrews out of the
cab isolators (16) from above, as required.
56. Remove the mirrors (refer to Section 3.6.2, Mirror
Replacement ) and all other cab components, as
needed, if not previously removed.
57. Attach a clevis (17 and 18) to each of the cab lifting
brackets. Route a sling (19) with a minimum lifting
capacity of 2000 lbs. (907 kgs.) through the clevis' to
a hoist or overhead crane. Make sure the sling is
centered between the clevis' to ensure even lifting.
