Before troubleshooting any
electrical circuit, ALWAYS
begin by checking the
following:
1. All connections relating
to circuit are clean and
tight
Model MMV Rev. 12/04
Attachment tilt will not
operate while depressing
top right button and moving
joystick. Check other boom
functions for proper
operation.
Check 7.5 amp
logic panel fuse.
If OK
With attachment tilt mode
switch depressed, check for
battery voltage at circuits 39
(Attachment tilt solenoid "X",
red tie wrap) and 40
(Attachment tilt solenoid "Y",
white tie wrap) at solenoids
on pilot select manifold
at rear of unit.
If OK
Check solenoids 39 (Attach
"X", red tie wrap) and 40
(Attach tilt "Y", white tie wrap)
for proper resistance (7-10
ohms). Replace if open or
short to ground.
Electrical System
Check for battery voltage on
Not
RED wire from joystick
OK
harness to logic panel.
If OK
Replace logic panel.
With joystick harness
disconnected and while
depressing the top right
Not
joystick button, check for
OK
continuity from YEL to RED
wires on joystick harness.
Not OK
Replace joystick handle.
