25. Label, disconnect and cap the transmission oil
cooler inlet (14) and outlet (15) hoses at the
transmission. The transmission oil cooler outlet
hose, routed to the lower radiator fitting, is located
on the top of the transmission. The transmission oil
cooler inlet hose, routed to the upper radiator fitting,
is located on top of the transmission.
WARNING:
under pressure can penetrate the skin, causing
death or serious injury. Relieve hydraulic pres-
sure before servicing any hydraulic component.
26. Label the inlet hose (16) at the hydraulic pump (17).
Remove four capscrews (18), lockwashers (19) and
two flange halves (20). Loosen the T-bolt clamp (21)
and remove the inlet hose (16) and o-ring (22).
Cover the opening on the hydraulic reservoir.
27. Label the outlet hose (23) at the main hydraulic
pump (17). Disconnect and cap the outlet hose at
the fitting (24).
28. Remove two capscrews (25), lockwashers (26) and
plain washers (27). Remove the main hydraulic
pump (17) and o-ring (28) from the transmission.

29. Wipe up any spilled hydraulic and transmission oil.

30. Label and disconnect the transmission temperature
switch connector (29) and shift solenoid wiring
harness connectors (30 and 31). Remove the clips
securing the wiring harness to the transmission and
move the wiring harness safely out of the way.

31. Remove transmission capscrew (32) holding
clamp (33), compressor hoses (34) and right side of
transmission lift plate (35). Remove the clamp and
hoses and re-install the capscrew to secure the lift
plate to the transmission.
