There is one relay (18) located behind the battery
equalizer mounting bracket (19). This relay is a 12 volt
relay that controls the fuel shut off solenoid.

e. Relay and Fuse
(Air Conditioner Condenser Fan Motor)
There is one relay (20) and one fuse (21) located inside
the rear door (22). The relay is a 12 volt relay that controls
the fan on the air conditioner condenser.
The fuse is a 15 amp fuse that protects the fan motor on
the air conditioner condenser.

DO NOT open the rear
Unlatch and open the rear door. The relay is mounted to
the fan shroud.
Remove the protective cover (23) from the fuse
holder (24) to gain access to the 15 amp fuse.

f. Re-connect Batteries
1. Connect the negative (-) battery cable (25) at the
battery negative (-) terminal on the battery in the
engine side battery box.
2. Connect the negative (-) battery equalizer cable (26)
at the bottom of the battery equalizer (27). Torque
the nut to a maximum of 100 lbs/in (11 Nm).

3. Replace engine side battery box cover (28). Use the
wing nuts (29) and carriage bolts (30) to secure the
cover in place.
