Cab, Covers and Mirrors
14. Route the joystick, power steering and service brake
hydraulic hoses from the frame into the cab.
15. From beneath the cab, route and connect all wiring
(engine, lighting harnesses and all leads from the
cab harness). Install plastic conduit as required to
protect the wiring as it passes through metal
openings. Secure wiring with plastic wire ties as
needed.
16. Route the throttle cable, still attached to the pedal,
through the hole in the bottom of the cab. DO NOT
install the throttle pedal at this time. Leave it lay on
the floor of the cab next to the hole.
17. Install the throttle cable (1) on the throttle cable
bracket (2), using a clamp (3) and two #10-24 x 3/4"
slotted pan-head screws (4), #10 lockwashers (5) and
#10 nuts (6).
Note: ALWAYS replace elastic locknuts with new elastic
locknuts to help ensure proper fastening.
18. Connect the throttle cable rod end (7) to the throttle
lever extension bracket (8). Secure the rod end with
a new 1/4-28 NF elastic locknut (9).

19. Connect the ground strap (10) to the cab and secure
with a new 3/8-16 elastic locknut (11).
20. Connect the horn wiring connector (12).

21. Install the console support (13).
Note: ALWAYS replace elastic locknuts with new elastic
locknuts to help ensure proper fastening.
22. Install one 5/16" flat washer (14), one 5/16"
lockwasher (15), and one 5/16-18" elastic locknut
(16) on the weld stud at the bottom front corner of
the console support.
Note: ALWAYS replace elastic locknuts with new elastic
locknuts to help ensure proper fastening.
23. Install one rebound washer (17), one 5/16"
lockwasher (18), and one 5/16-18" elastic locknut
MM2940
(19) on the weld stud at the top front corner of the
console support.
24. Install two 5/16-18 x 1-1/4" capscrews (20 and 21),
two 5/16" lockwashers (22 and 23) and two rebound
washers (24 and 25) at the rear of the cab. Access
the lower right capscrew (20) through the right tube
on the heater plenum.
