c. Solenoid Coil and Cartridge Valve Replacement
If a solenoid coil (9) is suspected of malfunctioning, dis-
connect the coil wiring lead (10) and test the coil for prop-
er resistance (7-10 ohms). Replace solenoid if open or
short to ground. Also inspect the valve cartridge (11),
o-rings, and the other hydraulic and electrical compo-
nents in the circuit to accurately determine the cause of
the problem.
The solenoid coils are of the same design. If testing more
than one coil, insure that the coil wiring leads are correctly
re-connected. The following chart shows the solenoid coil
function, coil wire tie color, harness wire color and har-
ness wire number.

10.13.11 Logic Board Panel

The logic board or side console panel (12) is secured to
the right side dash panel, in front of the joystick. The pan-

ous indicators that illuminate per joystick and attachment
tilt selections.

The logic board panel is of solid-state, printed circuit de-
sign and contains a wiring terminal or plug and, a printed-
circuit board and a display panel that provides monitoring
of joystick and attachment tilt functions and status.
9
Due to the complex design and solid-state circuitry, the
panel is non-serviceable. Electro-static discharge is one
of the main reasons for panel malfunction. Prevent the
panel from coming into contact with static or other electri-
cal sources. When washing the vehicle, keep spray away
11
from the logic board panel. Replace a defective, malfunc-
tioning or faulty panel with a new unit.
The logic board panel provides important information in a
"user-friendly" design with easily-recognizable graphic
and arrow indicators. The panel provides information the
operator needs on joystick and attachment tilt functions at
any given time.
The panel (12) is mounted with four button head cap-
screws and well nuts for easy replacement.
