14. Open the radiator cap (13) and fill the radiator (14)
completely with a 50/50 mixture of ethylene glycol
and water. Replace and tighten the radiator cap. Add
coolant to the overflow bottle (15) until the bottle is
1/2 to 3/4 full. This overfilling will compensate for any
air in the cooling system.

15. Connect the negative (-) battery cable (16) at the
negative (-) terminal on the battery in the engine side
battery box.
16. Connect the negative (-) battery equalizer cable (17)
at the bottom of the battery equalizer (18). Torque
the nut to a maximum of 100 lbs/in (11 Nm).
17. Replace engine side battery box cover (19). Use the

wing nuts (20) and carriage bolts (21) to secure the
cover in place.

18. Run the engine to operating temperature. Visually
check for leaks with the engine running. Check the
coolant level in the overflow bottle (15) and fill, or
drain, as necessary.
