9. Reinstall the front dash. (Refer to Section 3.2.3, c.
Cab Installation )
10. Reassemble the hardware onto the shaft
assembly (22). Place the fiber washer (23) onto the
shaft followed by the metal washer (24).
11. Secure in place with the hex nut (25) and tighten
securely.
12. Place the rubber cap (26) over the hex nut (25).
13. Assemble the driver (27) to the threaded end of the
shaft.

14. Connect the negative (-) battery cable (28) at the
battery negative (-) terminal on the battery in the
engine side battery box.
15. Connect the negative (-) battery equalizer cable (29)
at the bottom of the battery equalizer (30). Torque
the nut to a maximum of 100 lbs/in (11 Nm).
16. Replace engine side battery box cover (31). Use the
wing nuts (32) and carriage bolts (33) to secure the
cover in place.

17. With the ignition switch (34) in the RUN position (35)
press the front wiper switch (37) to the LOW (center)
position and then to the OFF position to "Park" the
front wiper motor on the left side of the windshield.
Turn the ignition switch back to the OFF
position (36).
