d. Solargizer® Control Box Installation
1. Install the control box (1) to the equalizer mounting
bracket (10).
2. Secure in place with two slotted pan head
screws (7), lockwashers (8) and nuts (9).
3. Reconnect the Solargizer® wire leads (5) along with
the positive and negative battery cables to the
appropriate negative and positive studs on the slave
receptacle (6).
4. Connect the connectors (4) between the control box
and the solar panel.
e. Solar Panel Removal
1. Disconnect the connectors (4) between the solar
panel (2) and the control box (1).
2. Cut the wire tie (11) securing the wires to the wiper
washer reservoir (12) on the engine panel (13). Pull
the wire out of the grommet (14) in the engine panel.
3. Remove the hardware securing the panel to the
hood. Set aside for later reassembly.
4. Remove the panel from the vehicle.

f. Solar Panel Installation
1. Position the panel (2) over the four mounting
holes (15) in the engine hood (16).
2. Slide the wire clip (17) over wires near the left front
mounting hole.
3. Place the four grommets (18) between the solar
panel (2) and the engine hood (16).
4. Secure the panel (2) and grommets (18) to the hood
using four slotted pan head screws (19),
lockwashers (20) and nuts (21).
5. Install wires into split in grommet (14) with enough
slack to be able to close the engine hood without
straining the wires.
6. Secure wires close to the inside surface of the
engine panel by securing them in place using a wire
tie through the wiper washer reservoir (12) top
mounting hole.
7. Connect the connectors (4) between the solar panel
and the control box.
