8. Disconnect the hose/wire track assembly (12) from
the bracket (10) on the outer boom (11). Remove the
two button head screws (13), washers (14) and jam
nuts (15). Set aside hardware for later re-assembly.
9. Loosen jam nut and remove the screw (16) which
secures the end of fork side shift hose carrier
assembly (4) to the intermediate boom.
10. Remove the hose carrier from the boom. Slide the
assembly back along the hose track guide until the
rear wear pads are clear and then lift the assembly
off the outer boom.
11. Carefully lower the fork side shift hose carrier
assembly onto suitable supports, or work surface.
12. Inspect hose and wires (17), hardware (18), wear
pads (19), mounting points (20), and other
components visible with the fork side shift hose
carrier assembly off the boom. Replace components
if damaged.
b. Hose and Wire Replacement
1. With track assembly (21) laid flat on work surface,
open tabs (22) securing the wires and hose into the
hose/wire track assembly. Insert a flat screwdriver
into the space (23) provided and flip up all the tabs
on the hose/wire track assembly.
2. If replacement of the wires or hose is required,
measure amount hanging out of the front of the wire/
hose support tube (3). Measure and tape the same
amount on the new wire or hose to be installed. Also
make sure that you have the new wires labeled the
same as the old wires for later reassembly to the fork
side shift valve.

3. Tie new hose or wire to old hose or wire and pull the
old hose or wire out through the rear part of the wire/
hose support tube (24). Pull the wire or hose until
the previously taped mark gets to the front of the
tube assembly.
4. Route the hose or wire into the hose/wire track
assembly. Snap tabs back into place to secure the
wires and hose into the hose/wire track assembly.
