Stabil-TRAK Indicator Troubleshooting

Before troubleshooting any
electrical circuit, ALWAYS
begin by checking the
following:
1. Fuses.
2. Batteries for proper
charge.
3. All connections relating
to circuit are clean and
tight.

Low Brake Pressure Indicator Troubleshooting

charge.
3. All connections relating
to circuit are clean and
tight.

connection with boom below
40°. Proximity switch L.E.D.
If Stabil-TRAK indicator is still
Low Brake
Pressure Indicator
Check low brake pressure switch for continuity.
• Low brake pressure switch is closed when
service brake hydraulic system pressure
drops below safe operating level. (Light On)
• Low brake pressure switch is opened when
service brake hydraulic system pressure
rises above safe operating level. (Light Off)
Stabil-TRAK Indicator ON
with boom below 40° with
ignition ON.
Check proximity switch
should be on.
If OK
Replace proximity switch
and retest.
If OK
ON, replace dash panel.
Low Brake Pressure
Indicator ON
with engine running.
Check both accumulator
charge pressures. Refer to
Section 9.13, Accumulators .
If OK
Check accumulator charge
valve pressures. Refer to
Section 9.7, Hydraulic
System Testing .
If OK
Electrical System
Stabil-TRAK
Indicator
MM1941
Adjust proximity switch or
repair connection and check
for voltage on circuit 65
(ORN/BLU) to boom proximity
switch. If 12 volts is not

present, repair

Recharge accumulators as
