Cab, Covers and Mirrors
30. Remove capscrew (1), lockwasher (2), and flat
washer (3) securing the lower left corner of the front
dash panel to the cab.
31. Working from the underside of the dash, remove the
two capscrews (4), lockwashers (5), and rebound
washers (6) securing the dash panel (7) to the cab.
Carefully tip the top of the dash panel into the cab.
HINT! It may be necessary to loosen or remove the
fuse block from the mounts for easier access to the
upper left capscrew.

32. With the dash panel tipped into the cab, clip the tie
wraps (8) securing the heater flexible hose (9) to the
ball vents (10) on the dash panel (7). Lift and remove
the front dash panel.

33. Label and disconnect the horn switch wiring
connector (11).

34. Label and disconnect the ground wires (16 and 17).
There are two ground screws (18 and 19) located on
the two side plates (20 and 21) of the steering column
support (22). There are six wires (16) attached to the
left side plate (20) and four (17) attached to the right
side plate (21). Save screws and washers for later re-
assembly.
