a. Fork Side Shift Hose Carrier Assembly
Installation
1. Carefully lift the entire fork side shift hose carrier
assembly and place onto the surface of the hose
track guide (1). Slide the assembly forward so that
the hose track guide slides between the two wear
pads.

2. Install 3/4-10 x 5-1/2" capscrew (5) and 3/4-10 jam
nut (6) to the intermediate boom (7) and the
3/4-10 x 6-1/2" capscrew (8) and 3/4-10 jam nut (6)
to the inner boom gooseneck (9). Adjust the jam nuts
so that there is 3/8" gap (10) between the head of
the capscrews (5 or 8) and the hose carrier
boss (11).
3. Connect the hose/wire track assembly (12) to the
bracket (13) on the outer boom (14). Use two 1/4-20
x 1/2" black button head capscrews (15), 1/4" flat
washers (16) and 1/4-20 jam nuts (17).
4. Connect the wires (18) coming from the wire/hose
support tube (19) of fork side shift hose carrier
assembly (20) to both sides of the fork side shift
valve (21).

5. Connect the hose (22) coming from the wire/hose
support tube (19) of fork side shift hose carrier
assembly (20) to the straight fitting in the "S" port on
the fork side shift valve (21).
6. Connect the hose (23) coming from the top of the
fork side shift hose carrier assembly (20) to the tube
assembly (24) mounted to the bracket (13) on the
outer boom (14).
7. Adjust the wear pads with the housing retainer and
the housing support bracket so that there is 9/32"
(7 mm) (2) clearance between the two fork side shift
tube assemblies (3) on the side of the boom and the
bottom lip (4) of the fork side shift hose carrier
assembly.
