This chapter describes messages with the
security process (nsd), which manages firewall configuration on routers running Junos
OS with enhanced services.
Unable to allocate count bytes of memory
The network security process (nsd) could not allocate the indicated number of bytes of
memory.
Error: An error occurred
error
LOG_DAEMON
It is possible that system memory is exhausted.
Increase the amount of RAM in the Routing Engine.
Subcomponent could not read configuration database
As the network security process (nsd) restarted, one or more of its subcomponents could
not read its configuration information from configuration database. The nsd process
restarted anyway, and routing performance was not affected.

LOG_DAEMON
One or more subcomponents could not sync their state on backup RE
One or more subcomponents of the network security process (nsd) failed to synchronize
their state when the nsd restarted on secondary mode.
