Type a name of the connected printer in the [Name (AE Title of DICOM):]
field.
When DICOM protocol images are for 20 pix/mm recording by a printer with
settings from software ver. A05 or later, click the [fine printing] check box.
Then, enter AE Title specified for 20 pix/mm recording by DICOM client in
the enter field displayed underneath [fine printing].
If viewing or modifying printer settings, the name of the printer selected from the
[Printers:] list is displayed.
NOTE
• The printer name entered in a field [Name (AE Title of DICOM):] is displayed
as the [Equipment] in the [Equip. Status] list of the [FN-PS551] window. It
is also used for "
Deleting a Client [Client]".
• When the DICOM protocol is used, the printer name serves as the AE
Title that identifies the printer. If [Print Server Application Entity] is set to
[one to both printers] (an AE Title is assigned for the system) with the "
[DICOM Property] Window" in the "7.3 Adding, Modifying, or Deleting
Protocols [Protocols]", the printer name set for Printer #1 is used as an AE
Title.
• The printer name must be a combination of up to 16 characters selected
from the table below.
• AE Title entered for 20 pix/mm recording of DICOM protocol image should
be different from AE Title entered in the [Name (AE Title of DICOM):] field.
If these AE Titles are the same, 20 pix/mm recording can not be carried
out. DICOM client and printer for output must also support 20 pix/mm
recording.
• When 20 pix/mm recording is carried out for connecting to CR-IR348CL
(for FCR5000 series console), 10pix/mm and 20 pix/mm recording are
changed over according to DICOM communication information.
Therefore, in the case of 20 pix/mm recording only from CR-IR348CL, it is
acceptable to input only for [Name (AE Title of DICOM):] (it is not necessary
to check the [fine printing] check box).
• [Fine printing] can be specified even if DICOM protocol is not used, however
it has no effect.
• Printers that support 20 pix/mm recording.
The following characters may be used in the printer name.
