Installing Optional Software

NOTE
Skip this section if not installing additional specifications.
To add specifications when setting up the system, install the key registry software
for the required each specification as described below.
• To add the DICOM protocol specifications
• To add the TOSHIBA protocol specifications
• To add the IPU specifications (supporting software ver. A03 or later)
• To add the PEM (Pattern enhancement processing for mammography)
function for IPU specifications (supporting software ver. A04 or later)
CAUTION
• Ensure that the install disk is write-protected (write-disabled).
• PEM (Pattern enhancement processing for mammography) is an added
optional function for IPU specifications. The key registry for PEM is not
operated when installing independently. Therefore, it is necessary to install
with the key registry for IPU when using the Pattern enhancement processing
for mammography option.
(1) Insert the floppy disk for the required key registry software (for DICOM,
TOSHIBA, IPU or PEM) into the disk drive.
(2) From the [Start] menu on the Windows desktop, click on [Run] .
→ The [Run] dialog appears.
REFERENCE
The following screen displays show how to install for Windows NT, however,
a similar procedure is taken for Windows XP as well.
