Maintenance 11. Installing Software for GX260 Series Control Unit
Installing the Video Driver
(1)
Startup the DELL OptiPlex ResourseCD menu screen.
(2)
From the list of [Video Drivers], click [Intel 845 G/GL Integrated Video
Rev:A01].
(3)
When the next screen is displayed, scroll the screen down to the bottom,
then click [Extract].
(4)
When the [Video:Intel 845 G/GL Integrated Video] screen is displayed, click
[Continue].
(5)
When the [Select the folder where you want to unzip the files to] screen is
displayed, click [OK], [Yes] and [OK] in this order.
(6)
When the [Internet Explorer] window is displayed, scroll the screen down to
the bottom, then click [Install Now].
(7)
When the [File Download] screen is displayed, click [Open].
(8)
When the [Intel(R) Extreme Graphics Driver Software Setup] screen is
displayed, click [Next].
(9)
When [InstalShield Wizard Complete] is displayed, remove the CD-ROM from
the CD-ROM drive, check [Yes, I want to restart my computer now.], then
click [Finish].
(10) When [To begin, click your user name] is displayed on the screen after the
system restarts, enter "pc-ps" in the Administrator Password box, then click
button.
NOTE
Since the installation procedure requires logging on to Windows XP as an
administrator, the default value "Administrator" should be used.
After this, the Windows XP desktop appears.
(11) Click [start] on the Windows desktop, then click [Control Panel].
(12) Click the [Appearance and Themes] icon on the [Control Panel] window.
(13) Click the [Display] icon on the [Appearance and Themes] window.
