Setting the Language for FN-PS551 Application
To change the representative language for the FN-PS551 application to one other than
English (United States), which is the factory default, follow the procedure shown below.
NOTE
If not changing the representative language, skip this section.
(1)
Click [start] on the Windows desktop, then click [Control Panel].
(2)
Click the [Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options] icon on the [Control
Panel] window.
(3)
Click the [Regional and Language Options] icon on the [Date, Time, Language,
and Regional Options] window.
(4)
Select representative language from the [Language for non-Unicode
programs] drop down list under the [Advanced] tab on the [Regional and
Language Options] dialog.
The representative language can be selected from the following eight
alternatives.
English (United States), French (France), German (Germany), Italian (Italy),
Norwegian (Bokmal), Swedish, Spanish (Spain), Danish.
NOTE
• Select from the eight languages listed above. Other languages are not
supported.
• For the [Regional Options] and the [Language] tabs on the [Regional and
Language Options] dialog, do not change from English (United States),
which is set as the default.

Click [OK] on the [Regional and Language Options] dialog.
(6)
[Advanced] information indicating that file necessary for selected language
is already installed is displayed, then click [Yes].
(7)
[Change Regional Options] message is displayed to request restart, then
click [Yes].
(8)
After restarting, the FN-PS551 application starts automatically and the [FN-
PS551] window is displayed, check that language is changed to the selected
one.
