Maintenance 7. Service Utility
The position/rotation definition of area 0 and 1 is as follows:

• [36. 14*17 film character fields position & rotation(Specific MPMs):]:
To specify the positions and rotation of film character area 0 and 1 using
specific MPM codes (for 4 types), enter positions and rotation of film character
area 0 and 1and associated MPM codes (up to 8) in each of [FC1], [FC2],
[FC3] and [FC4] (the default value for each box is XXXX:1234 2345 3456
4567 5678 6789 7890 8901).
For film character areas associated with MPM codes that are not specified in
the [FC1] to [FC4], they are output in the normal format (top left-hand corner/
no rotation for area 0, top right-hand corner/no rotation for area 1).
REFERENCE
The symbol "?" (wildcard) is available for a single MPM code that can be
specified in the [FC1] to [FC4]. The "?" represents all characters from 0 to F.
An example of setting: "123?" represents MPM codes from 1230 to 123F.
• [37. Print Energy-Subtraction Param./PEM Param.:]:
Choose either option for printing Ene-Sub parameter/PEM parameter.
[No]: Prints no parameter (default).
[Yes]: Prints Ene-Sub parameter.
[Yes (PEM)]: Software version A04 or later, prints PEM (Pattern
• [38. Print examination number:]:
Choose [No] (default) not to print an examination number in the ID card.
Choose [Yes] to print it.
CAUTION
It is necessary to obtain the permission of the Service headquarters before
changing the setting for [38. Print examination number:].
• [39. Image area move to the top of 14*17 film:]:
Choose [No (FCR9000 compatible)] (default) not to move 14"×14", 15 × 30
cm (pantomo) and 43 × 43 cm image areas to the upper part of
14"×17" film (3543) for outputting them on it. Choose [Yes] to move them for
outputting.
