Maintenance 11. Installing Software for GX260 Series Control Unit
Installing the System Driver
(1)
Startup the DELL OptiPlex ResourceCD menu screen.
(2)
From the list of [System Drivers], click [Intel 800 Series Integrated Chipset
Rev:A06].
(3)
When the next screen displayed, scroll the screen down to the bottom, then
click [Extract].
(4)
When the [Chip set:Intel 800 Series Integrated Chipset] screen is displayed,
click [Continue].
(5)
When the [Select the folder where you want to unzip the files to] screen is
displayed, click [OK], [Yes] and [OK] in this order.
(6)
When the [Internet Explorer] window is displayed, scroll the screen down to
the bottom, then click [Install Now].
(7)
When the [File Download] screen is displayed, click [Open].
(8)
When the [Setup] screen is displayed, click [Next].
(9)
When the [License Agreement] screen is displayed, after checking the
contents, then click [Yes].
(10) When the [Readme Information] screen is displayed, click [Next].
(11) When [InstalShield(R) Wizard Complete] is displayed, remove the CD-ROM
from the CD-ROM drive, check [Yes, I want to restart my computer now.],
then click [Finish].
(12) When [To begin, click your user name] is displayed on the screen after the
system restarts, enter "pc-ps" in the Administrator Password box, then click
button.
NOTE
Since the installation procedure requires logging on to Windows XP as an
administrator, the default value "Administrator" should be used.
After this, the Windows XP desktop appears.
