5.1

Procedure for Replacing

• In the event of a breakdown in the control unit (including the keyboard and
mouse) or monitor, refer to the User's Guide provided with the control unit
and monitor and any other relevant documentation. For futher advice and/or
repairs, contact the DELL service center in your country.
• All maintenance parts for the FN-PS551 made available through Fuji Photo
Film are listed in the following section "6. Service Parts List".
• The following procedure describes how to install and replace the printer
interface board.
Overview of produre for replacing the printer interface board
(1) Setting of printer interface board
(2) Switch off the power to the control unit (PC)
(3) Disconnect all cables
(4) Remove the floor stand
(5) Remove the cover from the control unit (PC)
(6) Remove the expansion card cage
(7) Replace/insert the printer interface board
(8) Reinstall the expantion card cage
(9) Re-attach the control unit cover
(10) Re-attach the floor stand
(11) Reconnect the cables
(12) Switch the power back on to the control unit (PC)
NOTE
To install additional printer interface board (i.e., add a connected printer),
performthe following additional step.
(13) Set configuration for additional printer
NOTE
