(3) From the [protocol] window, select the protocol ([DICOM], [TOSHIBA] or
[FINP]) for the relevant client.
NOTE
• For [DICOM], go to step (4).
• For [TOSHIBA], go to step (5).
• For [FINP] with software ver. A03 or later, go to step (6).
• When setting "DICOM: default", separate setting window is displayed for
[protocol] window, however, setting is not necessary for all parameters.
Settings can be made (setting is not possible with software ver. A05 or
later), but the following contents are set by internal process. Some of the
contents are different from the displayed default values.

For software ver. A05 or later, [avail] (available, default) or [inval] (invalid)
is set for the "DICOM: default" function.
(4) For the DICOM protocol connection, set the following parameters.
• [Application Entity Title:]:
Enter an AE Title that identifies a client (up to 16 single-byte characters).
• [Attribute list error:]:
This parameter specifies the response to unexpected transmission errors
([not indicate] (default) ignores errors, [indicate] sends an error message).
• [Attribute value out of range:]:
This parameter specifies the response to out-of-range date errors ([not
indicate] (default) ignores errors, [indicate] sends an error message).
• [Image size is larger than image box:]:
BIB N-SET (image data receiving in frames) uses reduction to fit oversized
images into the image frame. This parameter specifies whether to issue
notification that reduction has been used ([not indicate] (default) sends no
notification, [indicate] sends an error message).
• [N-Event-Report RQ:]:
This parameter specifies whether to respond to N-Event-Report requests
([disabled] (default) send no response, [enabled] sends a response).
