Maintenance 7. Service Utility
NOTE
• Refer to "Chapter 2 Service Utility - Additional Instructions 1. Supplementary
Explanation for Setting LUT Content" in the "FN-PS551 Service Manual-
Appendix" for details (gamma table, etc.) on each of the parameters used
by the following LUT settings.
• On the FN-PS551 application, it is set not to perform tone correction
processing when setting gamma table No. 49 for SAR (used when
connecting to QA-WS771 with the DICOM protocol). Therefore, parameters
such as density and contrast are unaffected.
• Gamma table No.36 for SAR (supporting software ver. A05 or later) is used
if expected tone is not obtained when outputting print from a DICOM client
that sends tone corrected images.
(12) Specify default settings for the following tone correction processing
parameters.
• [parameter priority:] (only for TOSHIBA protocol):
Give a high priority to client-dependent ([client]) or modality-dependent
([modality]) image processing parameters when transmitted data contains
modality information.
Choose [modality], then click [Setup...] to display the [Modality Setup] window.
See also "7.6 Adding, Modifying, or Deleting Modality Information [Modality
Setup]".
Even if [modality] is selected, it is required to specify all tone correction
processing parameters on this [LUT] window.
• [procedure:]:
Specify either [SAR] or [BAR] mode for the tone correction processing.
• [default LUT:]:
Specify the default LUT number in the range of 1 to 8.
• [precedence of configuration:] (supporting software ver. A07 or later):
Specify use of the value sent from a client ([No], default value) or use of the
value set by FN-PS551 service utility ([Yes]) for the Max. density/Min. density.
