Maintenance 7. Service Utility
[name] Window
(1) Enter a host name and IP address in the [Host name:] and [IP address:]
fields to identify a client.
If viewing or modifying settings in [Properties], the entries of the [Host name:] and
[IP address:] correspond to the client selected in the [Client] window.
NOTE
• The host name must be entered in single-byte alphanumeric characters
(both upper and lower cases are accepted).
• The number of characters that can be input differs according to the software
version.
• Software version A03 or earlier:
• Software version A04 or later:
• If the "DICOM: default" is selected, the [Host name:] on the [name] window
reads "default," and the host name and IP address settings cannot be
changed.
(2) Click the [protocol] tab.
→ The [protocol] window appears.

Input possible to a maximum of 10 characters for DICOM, TOSHIBA
and FUJI protocol clients.
Input possible to a maximum of 10 characters for DICOM and FUJI
protocol clients and 16 characters for TOSHIBA protocol clients.
