(14) Specify client-dependent default settings for the output printer.
• [fixed]:
All print requests from the designated client are always passed to the
designated printer.
Choose a printer from the drop-down list box.
• [primary/secondary]:
Two printers can be designated as a primary and secondary so that the
secondary printer takes over a printing job when the primary printer is
unavailable.
Choose primary and secondary printers from the drop-down list box.
• [random]:
Two printers can be specified at random so that the printer which is idle at
the time executes a printing job after both status of them is checked.
Choose the first printer ("printer #1") and second printer ("printer #2") from
the drop-down list box.
• [Priority of output process] (supporting software ver. A07 or later):
Specify alternative processing method if output printer is in utility status (film
empty or in operation by a user, etc.) when [primary/secondary] or [random]
is selected.

NOTE
• Before choosing a printer or printers, check that they are registered as
described in the section "7.4 Adding, Modifying, or Deleting a Printer".
Note that the [primary/secondary] and [random] options are available only
when two printers are registered.
• If clients possibly specify the slide format, the [fixed] option should be
used.
• [fixed] option must be selected and the printer registered as the Printer #1
(the printer which is connected to the first printer interface board) must be
specified for the output printer setting of the DICOM protocol client when
[Print Server Application Entity] is set to [one to each printer] (an AE Title
is assigned for each printer) with the "
"7.3 Adding, Modifying, or Deleting Protocols [Protocols]". (The setting
made here is meaningless since the print output is performed to the printer
specified with the AE Title; however, this procedure cannot be ended unless
the setting is made.)
If [one to both printers] (an AE Title is assigned for the system) is set, or
for a TOSHIBA protocol client or a FUJI protocol client, the print output is
performed to the printer set here.
(15) Click the [output format] tab.
