Saving Settings

Once the operation tests is complete, save all settings information onto floppy disk.
After this, switch off the power to the control unit.

NOTE
A DOS-formatted floppy disk to save setting files will be required.
(1) Insert a floppy disk into the disk drive to save setting files by means of the
save function of Service Utility.
NOTE
Refer to "7. Service Utility" and "7.10 Saving and Restoring Settings Files" in
the "FN-PS551 Service Manual: MAINTENANCE" for further information
about starting up and terminating the Service Utility, and saving setting files.
(2) Remove the floppy disk saved setting files.
NOTE
Store the floppy disk containing the setting files in a safe place. It may be
needed in order to restore unique system settings in case of a system
breakdown or following upgrading of the software.
(3) Exit the Service Utility by clicking [OK] on the [SERVICE UTILITY] window.
→ The Service Utility is now terminated.
NOTE
To change the representative language for the FN-PS551 application to other
than English (United States), execute the procedure in "8. Setting the
Language for FN-PS551 Application" instead of the following "
the power to the control unit (for Windows NT or Windows XP)" procedure.
If the representative language is not to be changed, execute the following "
Switch off the power to the control unit (for Windows NT or Windows XP)"
procedure.
