Maintenance 7. Service Utility
Setting Image Processing
(1)
Specifies how to handle data, when the following image processing
parameters are not included in the image data from a client when the IPU
function is active (Default: on demand).
• [DRC/TAS:]:
Dynamic range control processing and Tomographic artifact suppression
processing parameters.
• [MFP:]:
Multi-objective frequency processing parameter.
• [always]:
• [on demand]:
(2)
Set the parameters and click [OK].
→ The [Protocols] window on the [SERVICE UTILITY] window reappears.
Setting Parameter Updating Editor
CAUTION
• The backup of following setting items is not made in a floppy disk by saving
a setting file with the [File] menu. It must be, therefore, reset if the software
is reinstalled.
• Set [starting mode:] to [user mode] when it is operated by a user.
NOTE
• If [starting mode:] is [user mode] when software ver. A04 or later is used,
[Parameter Updating Editor] from [Utility] menu in the FN-PS551 Application
Window can not be used in some cases depending on the combination of
setting details in " Setting Image Processing" and [parameter change:]
below. This is because [Parameter Updating Editor] is not usable if
parameter editing is not practically possible under the setting conditions.
Even if [Parameter Updating Editor] is usable, editable parameters vary
depending on various setting details.
• Refer to the "FN-PS551 Operation Manual" for further information about
the Parameter Updating Editor including how to use it.

If the parameter is missing, it is processed with the
internal parameter of the FN-PS551. In this case,
however, a appropriate parameter has to be set with
Parameter Updating Editor beforehand.
If the parameter is missing, the appropriate image
processing is not performed. The processing is
performed only if the parameter is sent from a client
using that parameter.
