Maintenance 10. Installing Software for GX150 Series Control Unit
Installing the System Utilities
(1)
Startup the Dell OptiPlex ResourceCD menu screen.
(2)
Select [System] from [Device Type] column, and click [DELL UTILITIES] from
the list of [OptiPlex GX150 System Drivers Windows NT 4.0].
(3)
When the [OptiPlex GX150 System Drivers Windows NT 4.0> DELL
UTILITIES] screen is displayed, scroll the screen down to the bottom, then
click [Extract].

When the [WinZip Self-Extractor] screen is displayed, click [OK], [Unzip],
and [OK] in this order.
(5)
When the [Internet Explorer] window is displayed, click [Install Now].
(6)
When the [Confirm File Open] screen is displayed, click [Open].
(7)
When the [Welcome] screen is displayed, click [Next].
(8)
When the [Dell System Utilities] screen is displayed, check "AutoShutdown
Service" only, then click [Next].
(9)
When the [Setup is Complete] screen is displayed, remove the CD-ROM
from the drive, and check [Yes, I want to restart my computer now.], then
click [Finish].
(10) The system restarts, so perform the common restarting procedure for installing
the various types of drivers.
NOTE
After installation of the various types of driver software is complete, perform
"Install Windows NT Service Pack 5" again according to " Software Installation
Flowchart". Then, perform "Format D Drive", "Set System Startup Latency
and Task Bar Display", "Install FN-PS551 Application and Key Registry", and
"Set FN-PS551 Application Display Language".
