Saving and Restoring Settings Files

The [File] menu on the [SERVICE UTILITY] windows can be used to save service utility
settings files on a floppy disk and restore settings from the floppy disk.
NOTE
Before proceeding with this procedure, get ready a floppy disk (DOS
formatted) for saving settings files.

Saving a Settings File

CAUTION
To save a settings file, enter or modify the settings as desired, click [OK] to
exit from the [SERVICE UTILITY], then restart the [SERVICE UTILITY].
The settings changed at [SERVICE UTILITY] will not be actually changed if
the data is saved without clicking [OK].
(1) Insert a floppy disk for saving a settings file into the disk drive.
(2) From the [File] menu, click on [Save].
→ The settings file is saved onto the floppy disk.
