Formatting the D Drive
(1)
Click [start] on the Windows desktop, then click [My Computer].
(2)
Right-click the [Local Disk (D:)] icon on the [My Computer] window.
(3)
Click [Format] on the menu displayed.
(4)
Select "NTFS" as the [File System] on the [Format Local Disk (D:)] dialog,
then click [Start].
(5)
When an alert is displayed stating that all data in the specified drive is to be
deleted, click [OK].
(6)
The D: drive is reformatted (Formatting time varies depending on the capacity
of the hard disk drive).
(7)
When a message is displayed stating that format is complete, click [OK].
(8)
Click [Close] on the [Format Local Disk (D:)] dialog to close the [My Computer]
window.
