(1) To add or modify a protocol, set the following parameters.
• [Network port no.]:
The port number used by FN-PS551 for DICOM transmission can be specified
in the range of 1 to 65,535 (the default value is 104).
Normally the default for the port number should be used. If the connected
DICOM client does not work properly with the default value, reset the network
port number to the value given at the DICOM client end.
• [Timeout]:
The transmission timeout value can be specified in the range of 30 to 3,600
seconds (the default value is 600 seconds). The timeout value represents
the maximum time limit for the FN-PS551 to wait for data to arrive. If data
does not arrive within the set time, a timeout occurs.
Normally the default for the timeout should be used. If the connected DICOM
client does not work properly with the default value, reset the timeout to the
value given at the DICOM client end.
