Print Acceptance Depending on the Status of the Printer
When using software ver. A03 or earlier:
• The print from a client is not accepted with either of the DICOM/TOSHIBA/FUJI
protocols until the status of the printer becomes [Operating] when the FN-PS551
application is started.
• The print acceptance varies depending on the protocol when the status of the
printer is changed from [Operating] to other status while operating the FN-PS551
application after it is started up.
• DICOM protocol: Print is accepted regardless of the status. The image data
is stored in the hard disk, and the print output is performed after the status is
returned to [Operating].
• TOSHIBA and FUJI protocols: Print is only accepted in the [Operating] status.
When using software ver. A04 or later:
• DICOM and FUJI protocols: The print acceptance varies depending on the settings
in the [Data receive if the printer is off-line] of [DICOM Property] and [FINP Property]
windows on the Service Utility.
• Set to [enable] (DICOM protocol default setting): Print is accepted regardless
of the status while starting up or operating the FN-PS551 application.
The image data is stored in the hard disk, and the print output is performed
after the status is returned to [Operating].
• Set to [disable] (FUJI protocol default setting): Print is only accepted in the
[Operating] status while starting up or operating the FN-PS551 application.
• TOSHIBA protocol: Print is only accepted in the [Operating] status while starting
up or operating the FN-PS551 application.
