OS Settings
CAUTION
Do not modify other settings during the course of the procedures outlined
below. Any attempt to do so could prevent proper system operation.
(Changing the screen saver settings, for instance, affects system
performance.)
4.1
Setting the Date and Time
The system date/time is used to manage printing order and other features.
(1)
Double-click the [My Compute] icon on the Windows desktop.
NOTE
For Windows XP, step (1) is not necessary, execute from step (2) onward.
→ The [My Computer] window appears.
(2)
Double-click the [Control Panel] icon on the [My Computer] window.
NOTE
For Windows XP, click [start] on the Windows desktop, then click [Control
Panel].
→ The [Control Panel] window appears.
(3)
Double-click the [Data/Time] icon on the [Control Panel] window.
NOTE
For Windows XP, click the [Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options]
icon on the [Control Panel] window.
Then, click the [Date and Time] icon on the [Date, Time, Language, and
Regional Options] window.
→ The [Date/Time Properties] dialog appears.
