System Overview

The Fuji Network Printer Server FN-PS551 is a printer server system designed to enable
a large number of image diagnostic devices (for IM images) such as X-ray CT and MRI
systems, and Fuji Photo Film's FCR systems (for CR images; supporting software ver.
A03 or later) to share one or two film printers via an internal hospital LAN.
The FN-PS551 system is characterized by the following features:
• Multi-format functions (equivalent to MF-300 series)
• Connectable to up to two laser printers or dry printers
• A single FN-PS551 system can be connected to both of the DICOM and
TOSHIBA protocols as well as the Fuji Integrated Network Protocol (FINP or
FUJI protocol for short; supporting software ver. A03 or later)
• Unprocessed CR images received through the FUJI protocol can be
processed at the quality level equivalent to the FCR5000 series for outputting
them to a printer (as network IPU function; supporting software ver. A03 or
later).
