Setting System Startup Latency and Task Bar Display

The following procedure shows how to reduce the latency between power-on and system
startup. It also describes the procedure to cancel the "Always on top" setting on the
task bar in the Windows NT desktop.
REFERENCE
The system startup latency is 5 seconds and the "Always on top" setting on
the task bar is off at the factory. However, when the Windows NT is reinstalled,
the system default is automatically restored (latency = 30 seconds, Always
on top = on).
(1) From the [Start] menu on the Windows NT desktop, click [Settings] and then
[Control Panel].
→ The [Control Panel] window appears.
(2) Double-click the [System] icon.
→ The [System Properties] window appears.
