Appendix 1. Installing the Expanded Memory for the Control Unit

Changing the Vertual Memory Volume
When memory is expanded after shipment, the virtual memory capacity used by the
system is still set at the value based on 128MB before expansion of memory. Follow the
procedure shown below to change the virtual memory capacity corresponding to 256MB
after expansion.
(1)
Click [Start] on the Windows desktop, then click [Settings] and [Control Panel]
in this order.
→ The [Control Panel] window appears.
(2)
Double-click the [System] icon.
→ The [System Properties] dialog appears.
(3)
Click the [Performance] tab.
→ Setting items on the [Performance] tab are displayed.
(4)
Click [Change...] under [Virtual Memory].
→ The [Virtual Memory] dialog appears.
