Maintenance 9. Setting the Control Unit (PC) to Use PEI01A Board
Setting GX150/GX260 Series Control Unit
Use the setup utility (BIOS) to set the control unit (PC) when using the PEI01A board for
GX150 and GX260 series.
CAUTION
Do not change the settings of items that are not specified, using the setup
utility (BIOS). If items that are not specified are changed, the system may
not operate properly.
Setting and Confirming Procedure
(1)
Switch off the power to the control unit and monitor.
(2)
If the PEI boards are installed in the control unit, remove them all.
(3)
Switch on the power to the monitor, and then the control unit.
(4)
When "F2=Setup" appears at the top right of the screen displaying the "DELL
logo mark", press <F2> key.
→ The setup utility (BIOS) screen appears.
(5)
Select [IRQ Reservations] using <↑> or <↓> key, and press <Enter> key.
→ IRQ reservation window appears.
(6)
Select [IRQ5] using <↑> or <↓> key, and press <Space> key to set to
"Reserved".
When confirming, check that [IRQ5] is "Reserved".
(7)
Select [IRQ10] using <↑> or <↓> key in the same manner, and press <Space>
key to set to "Reserved".
When confirming, check that [IRQ10] is "Reserved".
NOTE
All IRQs other than [IRQ5] and [IRQ10] should be set to "Available".
