10.8 TOU (Output-Related 24-Bit Timer)

10.8.1 Outline of TOU

TOU (Timer Output Unification) is an output-related 24-bit timer, whose operation mode can be selected from
the following by mode switching in software, one at a time.
<Output modes without correction function>
• PWM output mode
• Single-shot PWM output mode
• Delayed single-shot output mode
• Single-shot output mode
• Continuous output mode
The table below shows specifications of TOU. The diagram in the next page shows a block diagram of TOU.

• TOU0 cause of start signal (Event enable must be selected by TOU0)
• External input TIN29 signal
