6.29 Configuring an NQA Test Group

To perform ICMP, jitter, TCP, UDP, SNMP LSP ping, LSP jitter, ICMP jitter and PWE3 ping
tests for multiple destinations, you can configure NQA test groups. You can add tests of the
same type to a test group for unified management.
6.29.1 Establishing the Configuration Task
Before configuring an NQA test group, familiarize yourself with the applicable environment,
complete the pre-configuration tasks, and obtain the required data. This can help you complete
the configuration task quickly and accurately.

Applicable Environment
To perform ICMP, Jitter, TCP, UDP, SNMP, LSPPing, LSPJitter, ICMPJitter and PWE3 Ping
tests for several destinations, you can configure NQA test groups. Tests with the same type form
a test group for the same administration.
Pre-configuration Tasks
Before configuring the NQA test group, configure reachable routes between the NQA client and
the tested device.

To configure the NQA test group, you need the following data.

NOTE
The configuration of vpn-instance varies with the following situations: If a test member is configured with
vpn-instance before joining the group test, the member starts a test with its own vpn-instance. If a test
member is configured with vpn-instance after joining the group, the member starts a test with vpn-
instance of the leader.
