Configure the interval for sending handshake packets.
Do as follows on the administrator switch:
1.
Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
2.
Run:
cluster
The cluster view is displayed.
3.
Run:
timer interval
The interval for sending handshake packets is set.
By default, the interval for sending handshake packets is 10 seconds. This interval
must be equal to or less than one third of the holdtime of the device status.
Configure the holdtime of the status for the member switch.
Do as follows on the administrator switch:
1.
Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
2.
Run:
cluster
The cluster view is displayed.
3.
Run:
holdtime hold-time
The holdtime of the status of the member switch is set.
By default, the holdtime is 60 seconds. The holdtime must be at least three times the
interval for sending handshake packets.
Enable candidate switches to automatically join a cluster.
Do as follows on the administrator switch:
1.
Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
2.
Run:
cluster
The cluster view is displayed.
3.
Run:
cluster-autojoin
