7 NetStream Configuration

7.3.6 (Optional) Configuring the Inactive Aging Time of the
Original Traffic
Context
After the inactive aging time of the original traffic is configured, if the S9300 does not receive
any data packets from the original traffic for the specified period, the S9300 considers that this
original traffic is aged. Then the statistics collection is ended and the result is sent to the NSC.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
ip netstream timeout inactive inactive-interval
The inactive aging time of the original traffic is set.
By default, the inactive aging time of the original traffic is 30s.

7.3.7 Checking the Configuration

Prerequisite
The configurations of the NetStream function are complete.
Procedure
Step 1 Run the display netstream all command to view the NetStream configuration.

If two aging modes, that is, inactive aging time of the original traffic and the FIN flag of TCP packets, are
configured on the S9300 at the same time, the traffic is aged when one of the two aging conditions is met.
NOTE
If the reset ip netstream cache slot slot-number command is run before the inactive aging timer expires,
the statistics are not sent to the NSC.
