1 SNMP Configuration
Before configuring group-based access control in SNMPv3, familiarize yourself with the
applicable environment, complete the pre-configuration tasks, and obtain the required data. This
can help you complete the configuration task quickly and accurately.
1.10.2 Configuring the SNMP Version
After the SNMP version is disabled on the device, to enable the NMS to access the device through
SNMPv3, you need to configure SNMPv3 on the device.
1.10.3 Configuring an SNMP User Group
Group information configured on the NMS and the device must be identical. Otherwise, the
NMS cannot access the device.

NMS user information configured on the NMS and the device must be identical. Otherwise, the
NMS cannot access the device.

This part describes how to configure ACLs to enable a specific NMS to access the device.
