THROTTLE CONTROL CABLE

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
Remove the front separate cover (page 6-3).
Slide the lock plate [1] backward and remove throttle
control cable [2] from the throttle arm [3].
INSTALLATION
Before installing the cable to the outboard motor, check
that the cable is connected to the remote control box
side properly.
Apply marine grease to the mating surface of the
throttle arm pivot.
Install the throttle control cable pivot [1] to the throttle
arm [2].
Lock the lock plate [3] by sliding it to the groove of the
throttle arm.
After installation, inspect and adjust the throttle control
cable (page 3-11).
