ROCKER ARMS/SHAFTS
DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY
• Identify parts as they are removed so they can be
reinstalled in their original locations.
• Inspect the rocker arm shafts and rocker arms (page
14-33).
• Rocker arms must be installed in the same positions
if reused.
• Prior to reassembling, clean all the parts in solvent,
dry them, and apply lubricant to any contact points.
