7. Check whether the throttle arm [1] is in contact with
the full open position stopper [2].
If it is not, adjust the throttle arm (page 3-13).
• Make sure the shift control cable is adjusted properly
(page 20-10).
8. Check whether the throttle lever [1] of the throttle
body is in the full open position.
9. With the throttle arm in contact with the full open
position stopper, measure the clearance between
the throttle lever of the throttle body assembly and
the full open position stopper [2]. It should be 1.0
mm (0.04 in) or less.
If adjustment is required, move the remote control
lever to the full throttle position and loosen the
OPEN and CLOSE side lower adjusting nuts.
Move the OPEN side adjusting nuts up or down until
a 1.0 mm (0.04 in) gap or less is obtained between
the throttle lever and the full throttle stop with the
remote control lever in the full throttle position.
10.When you return the remote control lever to the "N"
(Neutral) position, check whether the " " mark [1] on
the throttle cam [2] aligns with the center of the
throttle cam roller [3].
If it is not, adjust the throttle cam (page 3-14).
