FUEL SYSTEM
Install the fuel pump cover [1] with the connector holder
[2].
Install the harness holder clips [3] to the connector
holder as shown.
Install and tighten the four screw/washers (5 x 15 mm)
[4] to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 3.4 N·m (0.35 kgf·m, 25 lbf·ft)
Set the harness holder [1] and washer (4 mm) [2], and
tighten the harness holder screw (4 x 10 mm) [3].
TORQUE: 2.1 N·m (0.21 kgf·m, 1.5 lbf·ft)
Install the grommet [1] to the fuel filter (high pressure
side) [2], and then set the fuel filter and spring [3] to the
fuel pump cover [4] as shown.
Install new O-ring rings [5]/[6] to the strainer cover [7]
and tighten the three screw/washers (5 x 15 mm) [8] to
the specified torque.
TORQUE: 3.4 N·m (0.35 kgf·m, 25 lbf·ft)
Replace the sealing washer with a new one [9] and
tighten the service check bolt [10] to the specified
torque.
TORQUE: 12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 9 lbf·ft)
Replace the O-rings with new ones [1], install the fuel
pump [2], and tighten the four bolts (6 x 25 mm) [3].
Connect the regulator return hose B [4] and V tube (3.5
x 6.5 x 600 mm) [5].
Install the fuel pump/vapor separator (page 5-90).
