IAC VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Remove the engine cover.
Disconnect the IAC valve 2P connector [1].
Remove the two bolts (6 x 22 mm) [2] and remove the
IAC valve [3].
Install a new gasket [4] and IAC valve to the throttle
body spacer and tighten the two bolts.
Connect the 2P connector.
Install the engine cover.
EMT SENSOR REMOVAL/
INSTALLATION
Remove the engine cover.
Disconnect the 2P connector [1] and remove the EMT
sensor [2].
Replace the O-ring with a new one [3] and coat it with
engine oil.
Apply liquid sealant (Threebond
Hondabond HT, Hondabond 4, or equivalent) to the
threads and seating surface of the EMT sensor.
• Do not apply liquid sealant to the thermistor [4].
Install and tighten the EMT sensor to the specified
torque.
TORQUE: 12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 9 lbf·ft)
Connect the 2P connector.
Install the engine cover.
