CYLINDER HEAD
Loosen the crankshaft pulley bolt [1] using the special
tools as shown.
• Do not use an impact wrench. Remove the bolt-
washer while holding the crankshaft pulley with the
special tool.
• Do not turn the crankshaft counterclockwise.
TOOLS:
Holder attachment, 50 mm [2]
Holder handle [3]
Remove the crankshaft pulley bolt [1] and crankshaft
pulley [2].
Remove the timing belt tensioner pulley cap [1].
Loosen the timing belt tensioner bolt [2] about one or
one and half turns, push the tensioner pulley in the
direction shown, tighten the tensioner bolt, and then
remove the timing belt [3].
• Check the timing belt for damage or wear, and
replace it with a new one if necessary.
• Do not remove the timing belt with force using a
screwdriver.
• Take care not to contaminate the timing belt with oil
or grease after removing it.
• Do not bend or distort the timing belt after removing
it. Store the timing belt by hanging it on a wall.
Remove the key [1], and then remove the timing belt
drive pulley [2].
Remove the bolt (6 x 16 mm) [3] and the CKP sensor
[4].
Remove the timing guide plate [5].
